This Pentax MZ-50 camera is a ‘known good’ copy, having been owned by a friend from new, then passed on to me. It’s been recently film tested and some of the results can be seen in the gallery here.
The MZ-50 is very light, and very easy to use. It’s an Autofocus body when used with appropriate lenses and provides Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and four ‘Program’ modes. Shutter speeds are 30 seconds to 1/2000.
The film is automatically wound on, has continuous shooting mode, and auto rewind. Film can be also be rewound mid-roll.
