Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, complete with any accessories like lens caps, cases, manuals etc.
Please don’t send anything back to us before making contact.
To complete your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase. We’re a very small outfit, so usually we’ll know you and your order, but it doesn’t hurt to include your order number that will be at the top of your original order email.
Again, please do not send your purchase back to us before making contact! In some cases we’ll want it sent elsewhere.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- New printed items with obvious signs of use, perhaps a new camera manual that you’ve since used.
- New packaged items that you’ve opened, this damaging the packing in some way.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. We use Stripe for payments processing, and they take a few days to process the refund it seems 🙄.
Late or missing refunds
If we’ve already told you that a refund has be made, and some time has passed and you haven’t received it, first please check your bank account again. If it’s a refund to a credit card, contact your card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us or email ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. It’s very unlikely that we’ll run ‘sales’ because all items listed (as of writing in early 2023) are second-hand. Sales are weird right?
Officially we only replace items if they are defective or damaged, but we’re not jerks. Besides most – if not all – of the stuff listed on this site is one-off. But anyhow, if you want to discuss an exchange, just send us an email at ‘email@example.com’ or use the contact form.
To return your product, you should first contact us, and then we’ll supply a return address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for any exchanged or replacement products to reach you may vary. But as we ship to the UK only it’s not going to be vastly different.
If you are returning more expensive items, we STRONGLY SUGGEST you use a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
