Description
These DX code stickers are self-adhesive and come with a conductive ISO 200 DX code on them. They have several uses:
- Sometimes 35mm cassettes come without a DX code, so when you load them in a camera that doesn’t allow ISO to be set, it defaults to 100 (usually).
- You might want to load 200 ISO film into a cassette with another DX already on it, especially if you bulk roll your film with a bulk-loader.
- Or perhaps more excitingly, you might want to shoot a film – say Foma 100 – in a DX only camera that doesn’t allow ISO to be set (i.e. most compacts and some SLRs), but you want to push it to 200 ISO.
Whatever the reason, these codes will probably be useful in your kit.
