Description
The Pentax ME Super is an Aperture Priority + Manual body with optional Bulb and 1/125th flash sync. The ME Super is a small, light 35mm SLRs making it pocketable and ideal for walkabout / street photography. Other features include self timer, exposure compensation (+/- 2EV), 12-1600 ISO and lockable shutter button.
This Super is paired with an SMC 50mm f1.7 prime; a highly rated lens praised for its sharp rendition and build quality.
Condition: Body – Cosmetically this camera is in very good condition. The light seals were replaced a couple of years ago and do not need replacing. Mechanically it’s sound and running smoothly, and has been well looked after [by me, Ben the proprietor, as my personal go-to camera for a few years]. It’s been constantly film tested over the last few years with the latest roll shot in December 2023.
Lens – In good condition, with clean clear optics showing no signs of fungus, smooth focusing action and snappy aperture operation. There’s a scrape on the front of the filter ring which is shown in one of the gallery images here, which doesn’t impact the operation or mounting of filters at all.
