Description
The Nikon RF2 is a 35mm AF compact camera that was introduced in 1988 and called the One•Touch 100 in some markets.
Features: auto/fill-in flash, 30 second focus memory, a single-shot or double-shot self-timer, and 0.65 m close-up focus. The focal length is 35mm and the cameras is DX-code aware for 100, 200 and 400 iso films. The camera takes either two AA batteries or – strangely and usefully – one CR123A. We used two AA NiMH batteries without issue.
Condition: This copy is in great working order, the optics are clear and the camera takes great photos as can be seen from the examples in the gallery. When the camera came to us it had corroded batteries in it, but thankfully the components weren’t negatively affected, and the camera works very well. The battery bay has some small signs of this leak, but not at all bad.
