Description
The Mamiya NC1000s is a Shutter-Priority Auto Exposure (with Manual override) 35mm SLR released in 1979. Other features include 25 – 3200 ISO, 1sec -1/1000s + Bulb shutter and variable Self-Timer.
The camera has several interesting and clever features:
The winder lever has a Meter-off button incorporated into the top, which also services to stow the lever closer to the body.
Also the shutter-speed dial consists of a rotating collar around the lens mount, much like the early Olympus OM system bodies.
The lens included is an original option Auto Mamiya-Sekor CS Multi-Coated 50mm f/1.7 with 6 elements in 5 groups, automatic diaphragm and 49mm filter size.
This particular camera has obviously been very well looked after by previous owners, and has been thoroughly cleaned and had new light seals (Nov 2023) before sale here. The lens has clean and clear aperture action and the elements are haze and fungus-free.
An original Mamiya strap is included, as free UK postage, and a roll of 400 ISO Black & White film.
The film photographs in the gallery here were taken with this particular camera and lens several months ago during testing.
