Description
This tool is designed to open the new type of cassettes used by Foma, Lomography and others. The cassettes have a two-part shell that snaps together, and to separate it there are two tabs that have to lifted slightly and pulled apart. It’s a tricky operation, especially in a dark bag, so this tool makes it far easier.
Instructions are included with the tool, and a quick search for “Quic Pic” will reveal more images and videos. We’ll probably record one soon!
The two part cassettes can be reused by folks that bulk roll / load film, which is ideal because the film can be taped around the central spool as it should be.
