    Canon Sure Shot Z115 Caption

    The Canon Z115 Caption, a 1993 compact / point and shoot from the Sure Shot range, is full featured and very capable. It offers zoom (38-115mm), several metering modes, Program and AF modes, flash modes, as well as motor wind / rewind. Most notable is the Caption function which offers date/time imprinting in multiple formats but also some user-selectable messages like “Congratulations” and “I Love You”.

    Condition: This copy has been film tested (see dated images) and is in perfect working order, as well as fine cosmetic condition. It’s a French model by the look of the caption label underneath, but the language has been changed to English. Setting it back to French can be done from the settings.

    Polaroid P 600 Instant Camera

    This Polaroid P 600 instant camera with close-up and normal focusing modes is in perfect working order and has been film tested (see gallery). It’s in silver, and has a working flash module. An original simple manual is included and the original silver box.

    Condition: This copy is in very very good condition. There are some _tiny_ marks due to its age as might be expected. Mechanically and optically it’s lovely!

Note that unlike other listings we have in this series, this book looks like it’s got very slightly damp at some point, and the first fly-leaf seems to be partially stuck to the cover. There is no content on the inside cover or fly leaf that’s being concealed, and we’ve not tried to free the fly-leaf in case it rips.

    Canon Speedlite 380EX

    The Speedlite 380ex is a dedicated Canon EOS autozoom flash unit making use of Canon TTL and E-TTL (evaluative) metering. It’s a good partner to EOS film cameras of the era like the Rebel/500, 300 etc or early DSLRs.  It also supports high speed sync with some camera models. The head type is a bounce/zoom and auto-zoom works from 24 to 105mm, with rear LED indicators.
    It supports E-TTL & TTL modes. The Power source is 4x AA batteries.

    Condition: This Speedlite is in great condition, and includes case. The battery terminals have been in contact with a battery that had a minor leak, but they have been cleaned and the flash works perfectly still. The motor-driven autozoom in this unit is working as it should, unlike some second-hand units of this age (c.1995).

  • Weston Master III Light Meter + Leather Case

    Weston Master III Light Meter + Leather Case

    This Weston Master 3 light meter is in great working order. The model number is S141.3.

    The case is made from solid / rigid leather and in good condition. It’s a case from an earlier version in the Weston Meter line, and is much better made than later versions.

    These meters use the Weston film speed system, which are equivalent of ASA and ISO but measuring 1/3rd stop less. e.g 100 Weston Speed is 125 ISO/ASA. The Weston Master III/3 also incorporates the Exposure Value (EV) scale from 2 to 18 EV.

    Condition: This particular item is in really good condition and full working order. Very very few marks and scratches. Please see images.
